Terms of use

These terms apply to the Research Workspace personal research prototype operated by Simon Cuthbert, including its local Mac app and these information pages.

Authorized use

Connect only accounts you are entitled to use. Follow any workplace requirements for handling email and sharing it with AI providers. Your Google, Microsoft, OpenAI and Anthropic accounts remain subject to their respective terms and settings.

Your decisions

Research findings and draft messages are suggestions that may contain errors. Check sources, dates, recipients and the complete message before approving a send. Approval applies to the exact draft displayed in the app. Provider acceptance of a message is not a guarantee of delivery.

Availability

This is a development build for personal evaluation. Sync and research depend on your Mac, the required apps, network access, provider permissions and available subscription allowance. Providers may require sign-in again, restrict access or change their services. The app does not promise uninterrupted access or permanent sign-in.

The app supplies no paid model-API fallback. Any costs or subscription settings in your other provider accounts remain under your control.

Stopping use

Use Disconnect or Disconnect all accounts to remove local mailbox sign-ins and cached data. You can also revoke Research Workspace’s access in your Google or Microsoft account settings, then remove the Mac app. Original mail and calendar data remain with their providers.
